But by drawing a spurious line in the sand and setting up a tribunal, the impression has been created that we have turned away from all that now. Of course, the fact that the tribunal is ongoing provides a fig leaf for current corruption, which of course may not become the subject of an inquiry for 15 years and won't be the subject of a report or prosecutions for another ten after that.
