Remember when Mary Harney's mum got bumped up the emergency hip operation list the other year? She had no personal knowledge of anyone contacting the hospital then either.
The hospital confirmed that Ms Harney or members of her family didn't call them in relation to the op.
So it had nothing to do with her. Just like the Prof Crown affair had nothing to do with her.
But when she previously went on the Late, Late Show, her staff requested a list of questions in advance and refused to let the Minister take questions from the audience.
So why hasn't anyone asked the obvious question here - did anyone from the Minister's staff call RTE about Professor Crown, and did anyone from her staff call the hospital about her mum's hip for that matter?
