The dignity and decorum of Fianna Fail

George Hook played the following clip from the interview with Fianna Fail TD Noel O’Flynn earlier today.

I think to attack the integrity of the Ceann Comhairle is a serious, serious matter in politics and in the houses of the Oireachtas.

The Ceann Comhairle was elected by the 166 members of the Dail, there has to be dignity and decorum and indeed you have to have respect for the chair.

Excuse me, I need to find a bucket.

  1. In-bloody-tegrity!!! whose, may we ask? Is this O’Flynn for real? Dosen’t he even accept that the question is about the abuse of the system by a person before he was in his present exhalted status? Is all that just swept aside? Sure, it would be wrong to hassle a person who was not in the political arena – are we to believe that J O’D wasn’t? Wasn’t he a Minister, and didn’t he travel between Terminals at Heathrow in a VERY expensive Limo? And who may have been in there with him? Were they the folks on the India trip/excursion/junket – we all know who they were. And wasn’t the same limo hired from a UK company owned by the kin of a former TD from Achill? So lets have an accounting, Mr TD O’Flynn – let’s see in a very straightforward and non-politacl manner just what was going down, who was there, what they spent, whose money was it, who arranged it, etc, atc, and don’t give us any more of this bullshit.
