According to former Irish Times editor Geraldine Kennedy, Labour didn’t know how bad things were prior to the 2011 election (The Pat Kenny Show, Friday).
Therefore, according to Ms. Kennedy, they cannot be blamed for making unreasonable promises during their election campaign.
Hard to believe this woman was the editor of the most prestigious newspaper in the country.
