24 million documents: The stats

Letter in Saturday’s Irish Times.

By my calculation it would take 100 lawyers 4.5 years to give five minutes consideration to each of the 24 million documents relating to the forthcoming Anglo Irish Bank trial (Home News, Jan 23, letters, Jan 25).

This surely is a joke.

Yours etc.,
Donal O’Connor

  1. Of course it’s not a joke, this is to ensure that Seanie and his mates get off scott-free and in the mean time lawyers make a pile of money at a cost to the tax-payer. This is how this Banana Republic works, nothing has changed or nothing will change.
